Belonging to the family Alliaceae, garlic is a bulbous plant
species from the genus Allium.It grows upto a length of 25-
100cm in height.In the leaves, stalks and under the bulbs,
there is a fragrant oil.
Garlic is a yearly plant. Onions, wild onions, lilies and leeks
are related to garlic. Garlic does not grow in wild nature.
Throughout history it has been a culture plant. Probably, it
has grown in nature in Southwest Asia from Iongicuspis
Allium species.
The best quality of garlic grows germanium and selenium
rich soils.
